Larry – yes this is true, but that can also be a desired result. As the article indicated you can select just the cells that need to have their signs reversed so if there are negatives that should stay negative (or positives that should stay positive), you can just not include them in the selection.

Might want to add another conditional test for cell values that are already negative, because multiplying a negative number by -1 results in a positive value.
