Select all tabs before clicking "Find All". Please note that Ctl-A doesn't select all (it just selects all in the sheet you're in), so you must go to each sheet section in the "Find all" list and ctl-A for each. You will now find that all the correct rows are selected even for different sheets. From here you can delete the selected rows in each sheet. Good practice might be to colour these selections before deleting rows in case you click away and lose them.

In reply to Christopher Williams.

In regards to question #1, the only way you would be able to use this technique and delete all the rows in the entire workbook that contained the data you were searching for is if each sheet in the workbook was set up identically. For example, if Part A was in row 1 in all worksheets, Part B was in row 2 in all worksheets, etc. If you highlight all worksheets before doing the search as described above (hold Shift and click the sheet tabs to highlight), you will be able to select all of the same cells in all of the worksheets. Unfortunately, if any of the parts are in different rows this won't work.
As for question #2, depending on your comfort level with macros, you can set up a macro to search for multiple values in the same workbook. Check out the chosen answer on StackOverflow to get this sort of macro set up.
As long as all the worksheet tabs are still highlighted you can still delete all the selected rows at the same time across multiple sheets using the Ctrl- method.

I learned this technique a few months ago, and it works great. However, I still have two questions:

1. Is it possible to delete it from all rows in the entire workbook instead of just the worksheet. I tried selecting "options" and chose workbook, but when choosing that setting this little trick no longer works. So am I missing something.

2. Let's say I have a list of ten part numbers that I have to remove from three worksheets of data (remove the entire row that contains any of these part numbers). Is there a faster way to do that than using this trick for each part number at a time and then doing the same thing on each sheet?
